      Founded in 1994, the American Association of Notaries (AAN) began as a membership organization serving Texas notaries public. Within a few years, AAN expanded into other states and grew into a national notary organization. Today, we help notaries with the application, appointment, and bonding processes and provide quality notary supplies, including notary stamps and seals. We also advocate for stronger notary laws, provide notary education, and promote sound notarial practices.
